Justice is Here

O Justice, for so long we could only see

Signs of you,

Glimpses of you,

through movements—But now, you are here.

O Justice, as you rolled down the birth canal like a river

there were cries, prayers, and much labor, then you arrived.

What started as a seed in Eden has now come to fruition.

You are Embodied promise, Embodied prayers, Embodied obedience.

Who, but YHWH, would have known that choosing to be fruitful would bring a gift like this—For the third time, no less.

Whatever is true,

Whatever is honorable,

Whatever is just,

We thought on these things, and now y'all are.

Now you are.

We longed for you.

We prayed for you.

We worked for you.

We waited for you.

And now, you’re here.

Some thought you would come sooner,

Others thought you would come later,

But you came at the appointed time.

Unbeknownst to you,The journey to your arrival was

painful,

trying,

exhausting,

sacrificial,

But for you, Justice, it was worth it.

From the moment you left Eden to come here,

We now see Justice for ourselves.

This world, and our lives,

Are better because of you.

Justice is Here.

Thank You, יְהוָה, for צֶדֶק. You continue to make things rightAnd establish צֶדֶק in our lives.
